Filed Books provides monthly bookkeeping, powered by TaxFlow Labs, which performs the work. In this policy, “we” includes TaxFlow Labs. It explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

Information we collect

When you sign up or contact us, we collect:

Once you are a client, we also access the financial records you connect or share with us, such as bank and card transactions and statements, sales platform reports, and your accounting file, to keep your books.

How we use it

Service providers

We use trusted third-party service providers to host our records, process card payments and keep your card on file through our third-party payment processor, send transactional email, route internal notifications to our team, and protect our forms from automated spam. We also work inside the accounting software that holds your books. These providers handle your information only to provide their services to us. We do not sell your information.

Analytics and advertising

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors find and use this site, and we work with advertising partners to measure how well our ads perform. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies and receive information such as the pages you visit, your browser and device type, your approximate location based on your IP address, and the site or ad that brought you here. Advertising partners may use this information under their own privacy policies, including to show you ads.

When you sign up, we let our advertising partners know that a purchase happened and its amount. We do not share your business details, financial records, or payment details with them.

You can limit this tracking through your browser’s cookie settings, the ad preference settings of the platforms you use, or a content or tracker blocker.

Retention

We keep client records for as long as you are a client and afterward for as long as needed to meet ordinary business-record and professional record-keeping expectations, then delete or de-identify them unless a longer period is required by law.

Your choices

To access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, subject to legal retention duties, use our contact form.
